Terms and Conditions
UK Fingerprints operate under the following Terms & Conditions to which you must agree before instructing us to carry out any work for you. UK Fingerprints will take your fingerprints digitally on to LiveScan or manually onto a fingerprint card of your choosing. Our experts will provide the very best quality fingerprints possible subject to any medical conditions you may have such as eczema, dermatitis, arthritis, psoriasis or deterioration through age, wear and tear, excessive sweating and poor hand flexibility or injury. Please notify us in advance of any such issues and of any request for palm prints. Once we have taken your rolled ink fingerprints, we hand them to you to send on to the appropriate body of your choice. If we have taken your fingerprints digitally , they are immediately transmitted to or US channeler and from that point we no longer have access to them or any of your data. If your fingerprints are adversely affected by any of the matters above, the officer taking them will provide a letter, at no extra cost, explaining how any such condition has affected their quality for you to forward with the fingerprint form.
We are not processing agents for your fingerprints whether for visa or passport applications, police clearance certificates, regulatory compliance or the service or proof of service for any document in the UK or overseas.
Because of the many variations in procedures required by regulators, law enforcement or government agencies worldwide it is your responsibility to ensure that our service meets your requirements. Our service is to transfer your fingerprints on to the appropriate forms. The use you put those forms to is for you to decide and is your responsibility. Any comments, suggestions made by us will only be of a general nature and do not absolve you of your responsibility to ensure our service is fit for your purpose and that you have followed the requesting authority’s procedures correctly. We do not accept responsibility for confirming your identity, however, if requested at the time of making your appointment we can provide a Certificate, signed by the Fingerprinting Officer to say that you produced government issued identification, preferably photographic, at the time the prints were taken.
We cannot accept responsibility for any overseas agency that claims they are unable to process your fingerprints or fail to return the results to you for whatever reason. It is also your responsibility to ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
Payment is to be made IN ADVANCE THROUGH THE OFFICE OR on the day of the appointment to the Fingerprint Officer by credit or debit card after the fingerprints have been taken. Our appointments are in high demand and our schedule is necessarily tight. Please let us know if you are running late and we will always do our best to accommodate you. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so your appointment can be given to someone else.
